I had to do some work on the road bike to make it rideable. My last ride on it was in the rain a few months ago and I had not touched it since, which caused a bunch of things to not move smoothly or correctly. It was hot and humid at the time, so I was happy to ride later when things cooled down but the wind had picked up some but all in all it was great! With the constant sharp stabbing pain and ribs popping with just about any movement I decided to be smart and let the ribs heal before riding. It took much longer to heal than I expected, Ribs felt good for the most part with very minor discomfort but the rest of my body started yelling, LOL! I had to stop several times to get my rear radar working correctly and change batteries on the dual pedal power meter. Knowing my knees were in more pain than normal I kept the ride short and checked out the hanging wires situation and why I didn't see them. The pole is right the edge of the shoulder, there was a tree just before the pole and the branches and leaves hung out far enough to hide the wires and the wind caused the wires sway out to almost cover the entire shoulder and a car had just past me keeping on the shoulder even if I would have seen the wires. Some of the wires are now still laying on the shoulders almost into the road which could flipped up and catch a cyclist's wheel. So tomorrow I will cut the wires and move them off the shoulders, so if you are going to ride down Lakehurst road into Browns Mills from Rte 70 or Country Lakes be safe on that side it is just shy of 1/2 mile past traffic light and a little past the gas station on the other side. Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
