Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today was a typical October day. Harsh winds from the South East. Good for a ride like today. The legs felt pretty good from the start. Made it to the end of OTR in good time. The Highline outbound was tough. I put it into moderate tempo mode all the way out to WS. No heroics. The return was a lot of fun. The wind was mostly tail-cross, the entire way. I was doing 20MHP+ most of the way back. Including the last kicker. The descent was fun. Pushing a big gear, doing 40+MPH. The remainder was mostly relax, push over Mariposa and home. Concentration was good for the most part. Some ambient gremlins, nothing more. Ailments, consisted of left hip soreness, right hand numbness. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked great. I inverted the camera mount. No point in having it up-right and having it tilt down when going over bumps. Only drawback is to make sure it's turned on and recording. Other notes, no other cyclists today. I'm going to purchase a blue helmet to see which one I like better. Will likely sell the one I have on eBay if I like the blue one.
