Mixed terrain ride with Michael Goodman, who took his gravel bike. We rode Mulholland from end to end (Cahuenga Pass to Leo Carrillo/PCH), including "dirt" Mulholland. (About 7.75 miles of gravel and dirt road.) From the start of Mulholland Drive (off of the Cahuenga Pass) to the end of Mulholland Highway at PCH (at Leo Carrillo State Park and Beach) is about 54.1 miles and 5900' of elevation gain.
For future reference, and out-and-back ride would be just over 108 miles with close to 12,500' of elevation gain! (Also, from Mulholland to Neptune's Net is 1.7 miles.)
We returned through Sycamore Canyon (also mixed terrain; approx. 4.4 miles of dirt road), Hidden Valley, Lake Sherwood, Agoura Rd, etc. The Santa Ana winds were out in full force, as advertised, and kicked up plenty of grit on the dirt section of Mulholland, but overall it was still a good day on the bike.
