Great Divide Mtn Bike Route Day 12

Dome Lake to Salida CO

More than 1/3 of the the Great Divide complete with 964 miles biked. Great downhill cruse for much of day with one clime to Marshal pass. Missed a turn so went through beautiful canyon toward Gunison before climbing for an extra 5 miles to get back on route. Marshal pass followed an old railroad grade with a great surface so it felt much easier than previous passes. 4000 foot descent to charming Salida and a home stay with good friends Beth and Bryce. Wonderful meal and fiery sunset. Zero day tomorrow to get bike worked on while resuppling and rejuvenating tired body

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
