Lynx Pass to Meaden Peak

The ride from Lynx past to Steamboat Spriings was gorgeous with beautiful rivers, two large lakes, horse farms and the opulence expected around the ski resort. Spent the morning with the Dutch couple doing the south to north Americas tour. They quit their jobs after he had six bypass so that they could tour as much as possible.

Followed bike paths and roads to Clark then up to Steamboat Lake. After a swim and a massive ice cream, the climb started in earnest on roads that were even worse than New Mexico worse. Huge cobbles, ruts, and sand made many areas impossible to ride. Finally crested the pass and descended to a meadow camp with great view but many mosquitoes .

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
