Skinny ABQ Loop

Got out before it got REALLY hot and worked out a route using the Bosque paved trails and then a return on bike-friendly Rio Grande Blvd (marked bike lanes!).

And yes, that mountain at 8.3 is for real -- it's the climb from the river up to I40 and then even higher to cross it.

Body held up pretty well considering a) general lack of conditioning and b) elevation; the heat did start to bother around Mile 23, but that last bit of mileage is shaded (well what passes for shade in ABQ) so it wasn't a death march.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
