Vashon Island

Gonna be hot today but wanted a longer hilly ride and that is Vashon. Coffee and a roll at "downtown" Vashon and then a major push to make the 12:35 ferry to Tacoma. Both major hill climbs in Gig Harbor and Banner rd in Olalla. Good day of biking and feeling good tonight.

Data: Plan to use battery most of the day a level 1. Battery read 94% at Southworth, 88% at top of hill on Vashon, 84% at downtown Vashon, 30% at Al"s, 21% at top of hill and finished with 17%

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
