When the weather forecast is "iffy" that could mean good "iffy" or bad "iffy" so should have prepared for the bad "iffy" i.e. bring extra clothes which I didn't do. .Hence the first decent from Paradise in overcast skies was very cold despite having put on everything that I brought. Finger tips at Longmire lacked feeling and color but eventually got them working. Biked with Skip on the first trip and then he headed home. Considered just heading back to the car and then the sun came out and the second trip to Paradise was beautful.
More traffic than the last two trips but still relatively no traffic. Lots of tourists.
Long day but what I wanted. Been managing my 211 watt hour battery and finished the ride with 25% battery which makes me think I can do the Beartooth pass ride in June. It's 64 miles but 7,450 elevation and the profile starts with 27 miles of climbing to get the first 5,400'
