Paul Douglas Preserve Fat Bike Ride 6-24-25

Farley 9.6. Hot & humid, 82 at the start (8:30 am), got up to 90 by ride's end, I wish there had been more wind because it was really hot. Rode the East loops first with a few side trips, then rode up and back on the West trails. I didn't do them all, it was getting uncomfortably hot so I cut it short but still got almost 20 miles in.

Saw 2 other riders, 1 deer, 4 bunnies and 1 black squirrel. Trails were dry and dusty, perfect conditions. Stopped by The Assembly for a salad lunch and a couple of pops.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
