Fuel EX 9.8. Sunny, hot and very humid - 80 at the start, near 90 at the end, no noticeable winds. Three other riders out on the trails, one of them spotted 3 different times. Also a rare critter spotting: two fawns on the trail in front of me, then the mama doe at the next turn. Spotted another doe later, 2 rabbits and one black squirrel. Conditions were pretty yucky with the heat and humidity, every time I stopped to drain my helmet, was swarmed by flies, gnats and mosquitos. Trails were mostly hero dirt but there was the occasional mud puddle here and there which slowed me down somewhat. Rode the East trails twice plus one around on the MUT, one lap on the West trails excluding Highline. Stopped in Algonquin at Brewhaus 31 for the first time, decent food and pour your own craft taps, including 2 different ciders.
