Boxing day ride to the Pots.

My regular Boxing Day ride to the Flowerpots. It was a grey but mild day. Very quiet even the A272 was not busy. I puffed my way up Smugglers Lane to West Tisted , then I was rewarded by a Kestrel which I disturbed from a pole flying alongside me for a couple of hundred yards. He was beautiful. A large flock of pigeons took off as I neared the main road. The pub was very busy, the most people there I'd ever seen on Boxing Day. I chatted to three Bikers who were there on vintage bikes. A BSA, a Vincent and a Triumph Bonneville. Home for a late lunch. Despite the boost of a pint of "Pots" I was only clocked my 6th fastest time from Cheriton to the ford. Over a minute slower than my best.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
