2025-07-06 Night ride!

Temps were holding in the mid 70s, so (this time) I grabbed the GPS and headed out for a fun evening run. I encountered 17 cars from ahead, 8 from behind and 1 e-bike on the run, naturally! As far as critters, I startled a doe & her young fawns not long into the ride, and had a barker chase me on the north end of Briedwell road, the usual one that gives chase. I heard a single bark in the distance, then all of sudden there was yap yap yap behind/beside me. I picked up the pace a bit and it gave up the chase. I should have had the bear spray with me... That said, it was a wonderful cooling evening roll!

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
