2025-07-12-Zwift-28km-ZRS-2-Gentil8

Stage 2 of my personal TdF, courtesy of the Zwift Racing Series. The "Gentil 8" is mostly gently flat, save for a medium-length steep climb in the middle. Only four riders started. One got dropped immediately, while the three remaining hung together into the climb. There, the hotshot cleverly timed an attack on the steepest part and bested me, while the other cracked. I hung in and pushed hard to keep the final time gap small (just 27 seconds). Overall Zwift Power gives me 2.0w/kg or 145w (145w normalized - I must have stayed on the pedals). It felt harder, probably because I was in the saddle a full hour (including cooldown). I was helped with a peppy dance pop playlist. Olivia Newton-John wants to get physical with me, while Irene Cara and "What a Feeling" really helped me keep the feeling towards the end.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
