Bald Knob Lookout Tower to Eugene

First part of the day was highly enjoyable. Descending the gravel was a bit tough on the brakes and hands, but it was gorgeous at sunrise. Cow Creek was amazing, saw a single vehicle in about 50 miles. Great views as you descend and surprise waterfalls.

Unfortunately that's about where the happy tale ends. Riddle to Sutherlin was that lovely mixture of strip malls and McDonald's. There was some cool scenery, but just wasn't my favorite. Maybe if I had time to stop and go for a swim or something that would've changed my mind. Once I split North and stopped following i5, things were better, though my body was trashed from fighting the heat and the headwinds. Rolled into Eugene thankful to be done.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
