The Plan: Do CCW loops for 100 miles
The Reality: Too durn cold to stay in Concord-Carlisle
Had an appt with Amy for 1/2 hour.
When I left home at 7:30 it was 14 F - way too cold for go to Carlisle Center, and Monument St had too much redundant grade so I took 62 to Bedford and then 225 to Amy.
After that I took Bike Path to Lexington - still 16-21 so Arlington to Alewife Train to some path headed into Cambridge. But my average speed dropped to 13.3 and might not make 100.
Headed back for CCW's and spd dropped to 12.9 going up. At lunch at DD on path in Lex. My bottles were semi frozen slush so not getting much from them.
Reached Concord Center about 12 (45 .3 miles) and ordered Sub and room temp Pepsi on phone from New London for 1 PM after doing one CCW.
After 1 lap (14.2 mph temp up to 32) ate at New London, and armed with Pepsi did one more lap (14.2 again) (~76 miles @2:30)
Ran into John Rizzi and Dan Holin and chatted a bit (temp 34). For the final 25 miles did 12+ to Carlisle Center and back.
Then 5+ miles to Waltham St in Wayland and laps out and back to Rt 117 for the final 12 miles and some lap on Farrar Rd to reach 100 just at Sunset at 4:40 and then home. (Temp 32)

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
