Time to do 5393! I hadn't done that route in a while and after looking at the count of times I have ridden the other routes, I decided to ride this one. Started at 4:43 ( RWGPS is still 1 hour off). Awesome morning. Perfect start time of 1 hour prior to sunrise. The sky was starting to show some color. The air was cool. There was 1 point where it went down to 68F! Amazing. I like this route. Some dogs along Roosevelt that were barking but all were behind a fence. The back hill climbs of Verrado were awesomely quiet and fun. Then going along Lost Dog and turning south into the fancy areas, I saw, for the first time, javelina! About 5-6 of them were in the area of the fancy homes. So snapped some photos. 1 of them was pretty curious and came out on the street toward me. I decided to keep going up to the control as I would have to turn around and come back through that spot. By that time the peccaries were gone! Then done with Verrado and up to WTP. The volunteer at the guard shack with very talkative so we talked about volunteering! Then finally off I went to do the in-out of the WTP. On way out, it was time to ponder a watering hole. I selected the WTP library. Pulled into there. Very quiet and not busy. watered up my skull cap and armies for the last 15 miles to home! Fun, cool ride!
