Würzburg to Nuremberg

Woke to find three very fat slugs had done the dishes overnight..dunke!! Wee bit of rain dampened things but not too bad.
Continuation of yesterday's countryside riding through productive Bavarian rolling lands with a few steep pinches but the rest..a very enjoyable days travel. The ride into Nuremberg through park like settings adjacent to a small river (the Pegnitz which flows into the Main) was very pretty and then into a very picturesque downtown with old Gothic styled buildings on and over the river. Thumbs up for Nuremberg

A bit of garlic and those slugs would be a good start to the day! Looks like you are still smoking along! The cycle paths around there make life pretty easy if you are in a hurry. What are your plans over the next weeks or so?

Cheers Bill yes indeed the last week or so the cycleways have been excellent..in the Netherlands one on each side of the road!!..in better nick than our roads at home.
Need to be in Switzerland on the 1st September to meet up with some mates for a week or so riding before heading home...so will try to get to Prague Vienna Budapest maybe Belgrade before hiding in Bosnia for 12 days to avoid going over 90 days the Schengen..then up and across to Switzerland...probably a bit tight but will see.
Probably be crossing over bits of your route..where do you suggest I go/don't go ??
How are you handling life off the bike??
