Mmmm, maybe not a great idea to ride that paved trolley trail between Rockville and "North" Bethesda (also known as south rockville) on a Saturday with low humidity and reasonable temps.... Soooo many peds. Edge to edge. More than a few a little unsteady and not from the previous night's activities ... But this is what you get with increasingly urban environments. Much better on Beach Drive, with some of it closed to cars, though the headwind did restrict the speed some. Plenty of climbing training on the last third and yeah, every bit of it was felt. Did the different climb from the Veirs Mill Road crossing (instead the rolling VM-to-Aspen Hill route) and re-confirmed, yep, it's a good route in this direction (Grenoble-Iris-Danet to Arctic Ave). Legs definitely feeling too many days off (too hot earlier in the week plus visiting 'rents in NC and then rainy/threatening on Friday) but we'll see how the recovery goes.
