I had intended to start this cycle at 11AM or thereabouts but you know yourself. If the train had to leave at 9AM I would be there at or before . Any way I set off and this time I did not end up on the new road near Carrickmines but kept to the old one . The whole area has been built up over the past few years . So in Enniskerry I had something to eat , which made it harder to cycle on , but being from the Army I kept on ! I knew around Enniskerry was hilly so I did not mind that , when I had to get off the bike I just walked . Some kind Gentleman stopped to ask was I OK so I told him I was . But when I got off the main road to Roundwood I then hit the hills and they were getting very hard . Again I just walked but there were beautiful views . Eventually I ended up in Greystones , a very tired man .
