Final Day - set off early from the campsite - which was a nice rural area with berry trees for shade - set off and had a brekkie in castelnaudary and we met a guy from London who was also bikepacking and a lovely kiwi family. We set off down a scorching canal and had a drink at the most beautiful little canal side cafe run by an English couple where we had beer and oranginas. Then carried on, luke almost had a very bad crash with an old man. Stopped for ice creams just outside carcassonee and headed into town. Quick picture and then Luke took us up to castle where all went wrong, Luke’s pannier broke, and it was a mess but we eventually got to a pizza place for a drink and food. Arrived at the Lords - a beautiful place and went out for dinner and drinks!
