The weather today continues to be on the warm side, but not intolerable. I have lab next week, so I need to taper down just a bit. I felt good for the most part. I cruised it to the top of the climb and soft-pedaled the downhill. I had to intention of going for a PR today. I reached the bottom in average time, about 38 minutes. I started the ascent modest and picked up the pace as the ride went on. As usual, I was able to hold a good pace over the top of the loop and then backed off a bit as I rode the last leg of the climb. My concentration was good. Balance was a bit on the off side, but no so much. Gear is working well. I greased the threads of the pedals today. I heard no mystery clicks, but I did hear a swishing noise when I got out of the saddle while climbing. I couldn't tell what it was, especially since I've never heard a noise coming from my bike like that before. It was unclick the whistling noise that the tire make when getting out of the saddle and hammering. It sounded like the wheel as touching the brake pads. More investigating on that. Other notes, I tried my 30 mil debris tool, but only once or twice. I need to see what happens if a lot of pressure is applied.
