After a wonderful meal of pasta and chicken last night we spent some time at the firepit, wandered over to meet the new Icelandic sheep, admired the sunset and then climbed into the tent for one more night. It turned out to be one of quietest and most restful nights on this trip. The coyotes were even quiet! We rolled out this morning onto roads with nice rideable paths in the gravel, a light headwind, just enough to help keep us cool, and enough clouds to keep the temperature down until we rolled into our backyard. Another trip out of our back door completed. 20 days, 1371 kilometres (according to my Etrex), two river valleys explored, many new campgrounds evaluated and lots of new areas that we would like to return to to explore further. Thanks Lynne for being crazy enough to join me on these two-wheeled pursuits. It’s so great to look over and see you pedalling there beside me.
