Ended last night with a great spaghetti meal with local fresh water clams from the lake (very much like pipis) and chatting to Jordy and Lineke from the Netherlands..another enjoyable night. Rained overnight but cleared from morning and ended up a lovely day. Followed the waters edge then got a short ferry ride across the lake to Laveno then south along the banks of the Ticini River before reaching Oleggio and a celebratory Gelato (beers to follow!!). The hotel offers a free ride to the Malpensa Airport tommorow but will have to wait quite a while as flight doesn't leave till late in the evening So.... that's it!! Just looking back over a few photos and it seems a very very long time ago since Ed and I headed off from Lisbon...so many sights...so many memories and so many wonderful people along the way..a trip that has given so much more than ever imagined....I'm one very lucky and happy (and somewhat lighter) camper Thanks to those of you who have followed along...I hope you enjoyed it and sorry that I've flooded you with so many photos.!!
