I'm always battling with Mother Time, it seems to be a losing battle. I had planned to get out to ride between 4-5 pm, I was late but I got out and glad I did. For this ride I chose a route that was a little easier to work on my cadence without needing to worry about cars/PU Trucks buzzing me and without a lot of stops. The ride was great, with all the normal aches and pains but all were manageable.
I was much more in focus of my cadence from the jump. Once I got to the main road, I kicked up the cadence between 95-100 for about 2 miles, which my average was now over 92, of my desired goal of 90+. I wasn't so concerned about power nor speed. I just wanted a good ride and to achieve my goal.
It was a lot of good hard work and perfect for my current strength and fitness. I was very happy at the end of the ride to see I averaged over 91 RPM, I did thought it was higher. The vehicles on the roads were great today which makes any ride that much better! Tomorrow, for an easy zone 1-2 ride about same distance. Be safe out there and enjoy the ride...

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
