Got out a little earlier and finished just before the Night Rider time, LOL! It was a little chillier than yesterday and was windier too, otherwise a great day to ride. At the start of the rides both knees were not happy but by 5 miles they felt better. As I have been focusing on my cadence, it is getting a little easier but the second I drift in thoughts my cadence will drop, at one point I glanced at my HR and it was way down, then I noticed my cadence and it was equally way down! The ride felt harder than it was, the head winds and all the small hills didn't help, not complaining, the wind and hills are my friends! When I'm out of shape my HR when active goes way up, I wanted to keep it under 130 but it wasn't possible. When in shape my training HR is between 130-138 for Zone 2 & 3, now it is around 145-160. I accomplished my goals for today's ride, feel good about that and so happy to be back on the saddle. Be safe out there and enjoy the ride...

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
