Today was supposed to be a relaxing ride. For the most part, it was. I received my new shorts today and they felt a bit tight. They are the same size as the Bibs, medium. I had some crotch pains towards the end of the ride. I'm now having some stomach issues, but I think it will go away soon. I've decided to go with the bibs on Saturday's ride. I had lab today, so I had to postpone my ride till around noon. Other than the minor ailments, I felt pretty good. My concentration wasn't great, but good enough. I got a flat just as I reached route 202. It took me 5 or so minutes to fix it. I'm debating on putting on a new tire for the rear. Either way, I'm going to repack the saddle bag. I think I'll put an extra CO2 cartridge in the saddle bag. I need to oil the chain, maybe the skewers as well. Other than that, I think everything is good to go. I register tomorrow and I will see what's out there while I'm at it. All other gear is working well.
