Another gorgeous day for a ride - bright, blue skies, punctuated by fluffy cumulus, temps in the mid sixties, and low humidity coalesced into a marvelously memorable experience. Quite surprisingly, only four residents elected to ride today. Apparently, interest seems to be on the wane for some odd reason. Given the spectacularly stunning weather today, the lack of resident enthusiasm is completely baffling, Central Park is proving to be a very interesting place. James walked us through the gardens on the park’s north end. What an absolutely beautiful place! Listening to James describe the various flora demonstrated a deep understanding. Ironically, his specialty is zoology! My only regret is that I could not always hear his informative narrative! As far as the riding went, the relatively low temps made for far less arduous pedaling. My new-found willingness to use the electronic assist also aided in this being a more manageable outing compared to those earlier this season. Perhaps having only one passenger for each session, Norma on the first and Dory on the second, also contributed to this being a less strenuous experience.
