Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

This was supposed to be 40 minutes but I felt amazing this morning. We had a BUSY day planned:
1. Group ride with the Pedalers starting at 9:30, 21ish miles
2. Fall Fest in downtown
3. Schifferstadt Oktoberfest, also in downtown.
4. Hike Watershed to see fall colors - they are at peak today.
I decided I didn’t want to do the flat Pedalers ride, I wanted hills. Plus we could go earlier so we’d have time for the other things we wanted to do. I chose Indian Springs Rd to Hamburg: this way we killed 2 birds with one stone - bike ride + Watershed fall colors.
Indian Springs features the last hill we climbed on the GF heading back down the mountain. I doubt you remember it due to circumstances. It’s 15%.
It was so worth the ride out there. It was an overcast fall day with clouds shrouding the peaks of the Watershed. The colors were extra bright against the grayness. See photos.
Remember the little cabin on the right of Hamburg that’s sort of on a flood plane? I was DYING by the time we got there the first time I rode up Hamburg with you. I even had to stop to drink water. Today? Today I was still on the big chain ring as I pedaled past it grinning like an idiot.
Took pics at my fave spot (the one by the creek that I once showed you.) I was SO tempted to continue up Hamburg but decided I should behave since I was already doing more than I’d been prescribed.
Rode back home instead. I’m glad I decided to not go with the group today. It was gorgeous out there.
I missed you so much on this ride. It was my first time riding these roads without you.
