Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The roadie has my heart, but gosh I love this bike too - she’s so much freaking fun to handle! Did 70% of this ride out of the saddle - needed the practice. What a GORGEOUS fall afternoon it was too!
9:00 pm the latest? At what time does the walk start? I can also talk tonight or Sunday. :)
Or maybe I should ask what’s the latest you’d be willing to call? I don’t have anything major planned for Sunday morning so I can stay up late on Saturday.
I have a bike race on Saturday morning that I need to be at by 9:00 am to check in; starts at 10:00, but might be cutting it close in terms of talking before the walk (it’s only 27 miles, but it’s both road and gravel.)
I can do late tomorrow night if that works, really.
If Sunday morning, how early, to make sure I’m awake by that time?
Tonight is also an option. Carlos is in FL until Monday, so I’m home by myself. It’s not complicated at all on my end.
Saturday later in the evening is fine, as is Sunday at 4:30 am. Whatever gives you more time to talk where you’re not in a hurry. Please make the time for me…
The race is called the Gran Fondue; I’m doing the Mini (the Medio is 50 miles, 6k’ but 30% is very coarse gravel and rocky single track for which I would need completely different tires.) It’s being hosted by the Bike Dr in Frederick and Dirty Kitten (it’s a gravel race organizer); it starts and ends at one of the meaderies in Middletown (I LOVE meade so that’s a huge plus for me! They’re also having live music and a couple of food trucks.)
The Mini has the least gravel, hence the choice.
To add to the previous message: I just don’t want you in an anxious hurry like you are before your workouts. If it has to be 3:00 am on Sunday just so you’re not rushing when I’m trying to talk with you, then I’ll do that, but please make the time.
I’m not sure if this is going to be the last time I ever get to talk to you, and what I need to talk to you about is not something that I want to put in writing.
And if tomorrow evening is better, then I really don’t care about the time: 10 pm, 11 pm, 1 am, whatever works that gives you the most time.
Yes, 4:30 am Sunday is fine.
Are we still face timing for it? :)
Boooo :( Ok. Do you still have my number?

Thank you! ♥️
This is my route. You should be able to go to my page and see the Event. The 50 has some overlap with the Gran Fondo Medio route we did. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53086774?privacy_code=9Wj7SDAqLMyaJV6wKYnhjGktVq7sqOQP
