I couldn't resist the Night Rider... it was windy when I went out to get my bike ready. It took me forever to get it together and when I was finally ready to ride, I had a big smile as it was now almost dark! The power meter was still giving me trouble, I put in a new battery but that didn't help. The right pedal was recognized at first and as I was getting ready to take off it wasn't recognized. I took off and was getting some power readings so, off I went. It was windy so when I got to the red traffic light, I was supposed to go straight, I didn't want to stop so I made a right turn and decided to modify the route and do another of my favorite roads, but to keep it short I had to do 2 of my least favorite roads. It was a very nice ride with just about every car giving me ample room as they passed by me! I really was looking forward to the big tailwind, but nothing! As long as I kept up my cadence I was as happy as can be. Another great ride, my lower back didn't start hurting until I was finished which made the ride even better. Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
