The first training ride after the Gran Fondo... I felt good today. I think I carried over some fitness from the weekend ride. The weather was a bit warm, but pleasant. I decided to go up Banducci and decide if I wanted to add the extra loop around the farm lands. When I got to the top, I felt good, so I decided to add the extra loop. My legs felt good from the beginning and through out the ride. No serious ailments other than some numbness in the hands. I'm a bit sore in the bottom, no doubt from the Gran Fondo ride. I've since treated it and hope that it heals over the next week or two. My concentration was good. A bit of deja-vu as I passed the road markers from the weekend race/ride. Really strange, going from so much activity, to just myself, alone doing my solo training ride in a matter of 2 days. Balance was also good, I was on top of the pedals. Gear is working well, no problems at all. Other notes, I saw Marcia as I was going up OTR. I saw someone approaching and assumed that it was any other pedestrian, until she called out my name. I took a double take and realized that it was her. :D
