Today's weather was great. Slightly warm but very comfortable. The winds were from the south. But, it changed direction about 2 or 3 miles from the base of Keene. I felt good out the door. I was thinking of doing the Banducci ride, but decided to go to Keene. I flew up to the top of the descent. I think I got there in under 7 minutes. All thanks to the tailwind at that point. I cruised the downhill and reached the base in good time. My legs were a bit heavy for the first mile or so and got better as the ride progressed. As I normally do on this ride, I put the highest effort into the steepest sections. After reaching the loop monument, I put it into cruise control for the remainder of the ride. By the time I passed the loop, the wind started to reverse direction. At times it was nice because I was getting warm and had to unzip my jersey a bit. My concentration was good for the most part, in and out on a few occasions. Balance was especially good. I felt symmetric and on top of the pedals. Gear is working well. I forgot to lube the chain. Other notes, I bought some more Gopro bolts and matching alens, four to be precise. There were about 7 or 8 people at the loop monument. The train showed up just in time for them.
