Today my buddy Warren & I were able to enjoy another spectacular day on the mountain bikes! We combined portions of the Mt Spokane service / access roads with those managed and maintained by the Inland Empire Paper Co, (IEPC). Warren was familiar with the roads within IEPC and what a pleasant & scenic route this turned out to be! The majority of the route is at elevation so there is nearly always a panoramic view filled with brilliant fall colors! I would rate the technical difficulty of this route intermediate at most and the climbing, (other than a few steeper grades), quite mild. The route is somewhat remote so those with a desire to ride it need to be prepared with food, water, spare tubes, layers of clothing etc. I'm looking forward to making this journey again in the very near future with other members of our Baddlands MTB group!
