An unexpected warm-ish day in January. Dirt suffering from freeze-thaw and likely to be extremely soft and muddy, so pavement was the logical choice. Also pavement without any brutal climbing for January legs.
Made a point of riding by the former DC stadium site (RFK GONE!) and then exploring the newly completed sections of the MBT trail (unimpressed -- leaves railroad corridor and wanders through urban area as a large sidewalk, with plenty of opportunities for cars to cross it and whack you).
As usual, got turned around in the Woodside neighborhood trying to find the Talbot Ave bridge across the tracks. Maybe one day that route will make sense to this old man brain? So far 0 for about 10, SMH.
Also, started at the candy cane park out of habit but probably would have made more sense to start at the Linden Lane park-n-ride lot, doh.
Regardless, pretty good ride. Cooler than preferred, since you go faster on a pavement bike, but definitely not miserable.
Body felt pretty good despite many days between rides. Contact points weren't really complaining though were happy to get off the bike at the end. Legs felt good but were also happy to stop.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
