Today I had a great ride in warm, sunny weather to the top of Bundy and Mount St. Mary's University. Not far, but I pushed a little harder to get back in time for a meeting.
Traffic light score: Going up San Vicente, the red got me at 26th, but I fooled the Bundy light by tuning left a block early on Gretna Green. Crossing Sunset Boulevard, it was just a short wait for the green light. Lots of signals going down Barrington, but only a short wait at Sunset Boulevard again, and the rest are not annoying. On the way down Pearl, the Bundy light stayed inexplicably red for several minutes with me and cars waiting to cross. (It seemed longer.) Centinela also was red, but I rode the last blocks very slowly, and the light turned green as I reached the intersection.
