Well maybe strong distance-wise, but the last 10 miles were pretty much a death march, so not sure how strong the rider was. Surprising, since 50 wasn't a problem. (see other track this day for the missing gap -- turns out you really need to charge up your gamin before you ride. This track is from the phone app.) Might've had something to do with a LOT of wind. NW to WNW and any roads that went even slightly NW were quite the challenge. Quite strange to have no visible instrumentation. Choosing to climb out of Big Hunting Creek at mile 60 (yes, it says 53 here, do the math) might have been ill-advised. Back at the truck there was a period of feeling really bad. Heat, maybe tired. Cramps on the way home forced a stop. Not 25 any more, it turns. out. Or 35. Or ...
