#5196 - Tbird Vistancia

Time to get back to the perms after Rouleur Week. What a chilly day in Phx. High barely reached 60F. I had my skull cap down over my ears the whole ride. I was able to shed the gloves and vest.

Oh at mile 8 I saw a kestrel sitting on the fence about 5 feet away from me as I rode by and it did not fly away! Amazing.

Downside to today is I had a flat in a brand-new front tire! Ugh. Good news is that I was able to sit in a little community park and fix it. As I was leaving I saw the gold bike statue and of course had to take a photo.

At mile 45.4 I visited Savage Bicycles to pick up a package I ordered and that was delivered to that shop for free. Nice shop. This is why this #5196 is different than other times.

Then at end of ride on Sarival near Luke AFB, the rose fields are about empty and the fighter jets are in the sky above them.
