Another great day on the MTB's amongst good friends! Today, Dave, Nick, Ben and I braved the elements and hit the trails out at Riverside State Park beginning from the Field House Pizza eatery. What an amazing area for being so close to home and providing such diverse riding conditions. As you can see by the route we were all over the park and spent the majority of our day on single track. All that we had hoped to encounter we did to include; rocks, slippery roots and logs, climbing and some "hair raising" descents. Thank you Nick for your knowledge of the trail system out there, it made the ride an absolute blast!
We had some rain throughout the day but temperatures were in the high 40's so no problem keeping warm.
Dave had to leave a bit early in the day but at the end of our journey, mud covered and hungry, Ben, Kami, Nick and I enjoyed some eats at the Field House pizza place. We'll likely hit these trails again prior to the snowfall. Thanks gents for an outstanding day!
Oh I almost forgot; while we were out kicking up a bit of mud on the bikes Kami got an 11 mile run in! Now that's impressive.
