2026 J28 : Otaru to Sapporo

Today's ride was little more than a commute into Sapporo along the National Route 5, mainly on the cycleway.

In case youre wondering why I didnt just go to Sapporo yesterday .. well I could have but it would have turned yesterdays 80 mile ride into 103 miles which I could easily have done, however any bad weather or bad roads or traffic would have seen me runningbout of time and daylight .. so the safety first option was stop at Otaru.

I niw have a day off tomorrow in Sapporo to organise my post Tour travel back to Tokyo a d I only have 4 more days cycling left .... where did that go !

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
