After a week of very heavy brute work and finishing early today, I was able to get a ride in but after replacing Aero Extension bars that didn't workout with another used set that I recently bought that I had to modify by cutting 3 times to fit to get the correct angle ad length, now it is perfect! After I thought everything was ready and a rush I started the ride... after a few pedal strokes, I notice my head felt weird as the wind cut thru my head covering, No helmet! Turned around and went back to get my helmet. Now I was ready as the temps started to drop, wind picked up and loosing daylight off to do my test ride with the new Aero Extension Bars with fingers crossed that the bars feel as good riding as it did stationary. A rough start the HR monitor, rear radar and the Garmin GPS wasn't working for the first 1/2 mile, I stopped turned off and back on the Garmin and everything seemed to work after that so I thought the radar wasn't working, I stopped again and the radar hard to be turned on again, some how turned off. Now the bike was good for the remainder of the ride! I felt good to be back on the bike, just wish my cadence was better. It seems high cadence, slow speed or low cadence and a little better speed. The funny thing on the road bike I have no problem with cadence on the 90's and maintain faster speed and would feel so much easier. I don't remember having this problem before, something else for me to figure out, LOL! The bars worked out great and bike handling was so much sharper with better control. Another successful ride, looking forward to the next adventure. Be safe out there, enjoy your awesome ride and give a victorious smile at the completion!
