ACE spring 26 #4

There were 17 of us including me and Joy setting out on a bright and cool May morning. We rode down the Pine Street run, which provided some minor hills to warm us up and a nice run out at the end toward Medfield.

Traversing Medfield Center we found our way to the very scenic Causeway Street, which took us to the unpaved Noonhill road that everyone managed capably. More adventures as we took a gated path cut across Medfield's water supply fields.

A mix of a few busy roads and posh neighborhoods brought us to a small pond with what seemed to be three beaver lodges, where we took our group photo. The a couple more miles back to our cars.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
