Titled after the fourth track on Audioslave's 2006 album, "Revelations", this pedal is Trek #4 of the Revelations Series. Lots of hillwork on this one: The horrible non-pavement of West Ormonde found some good paving a mile into it, but it was also a bit of a climb. Then Noyes (cover photo shows the "looking back" at the ascent at Mile 11.5) starting at 10.1 and again a mile later. Wait, there's more: Phillips & Printz both had some testers. This is how you get 2159 feet of elevation gain on a 28-miler. That said, the rewards are always those descents (-2135 feet in this case...). Also got a little competitive (not my normal state of affairs out there) on entirety of Corbett Canyon Road insofar as I saw a yellow-jacketed cyclist about a mile ahead and closed the gap to about 100 yards through amping up the cadence a little. A few cyclists passed me today, one very graciously along Orcutt (about Mile 22.5), so good way to celebrate Sunday Mass @ Our Lady Of The Immaculate Pedalstroke...
