Little bit of a risk riding today due to wind and possible light showers. Started from the historic Baker Cabin. First 6-mile segment was on Baker's Ferry Rd to the Barton store. A couple short warm-up hills on the segment. Then it was a short stint on Highway 224 to Amsigger Rd, followed by the first long climb on Judd Rd. Mile 9.9 was the Eagle Creek RAWS, just before crossing Highway 211. First rest stop was at Eagle Fern Park (mile 14.7). By this time a light shower looked imminent. Another climb on Snuffin Rd and then on to Coupland Rd. Finally a long downhill into Estacada. Eagle Creek Rd was busy and was glad to get off at Heiple Rd. Nice cruising on Samuels and Dowty Roads, until the short steep hill after crossing over Eagle Creek at Bonnie Lure State Park. Another 3 mile stretch on Highway 224 back to Barton. Took Baker's Ferry Rd to Harding Rd. Another steep climb on Harding Rd and then it was onto Fisher's Mill Rd and yet another hill. Finished via Hattan Rd.
