Last night’s forecast for the next couple of days looked…not perfect, but doable. The forecast this morning however would have required us to ride to Wood Mountain RP and stay there for a couple of days to wait out some horrendous winds. So we made the decision to ride to LaFleche, pick up the car and drive the rest of the trip. Kind of disappointing as both of us were looking forward to seeing more of this country from a bicycle saddle. We arrived back into Rockglen to find a frybread fundraiser going on at the museum and after our fill of fried bread and jam we were given a tour of the very impressive local paleontological finds by a very enthusiastic museum volunteer. We’re looking forward to coming through here again in July.
