Just a little loop through Denton, and back down Bonnie Brae. I was riding the Fens after reassembly last night. It was a big hassle, and I couldn't get my road double cranks to line up with my triple shifter. I ended up moving the chainrings over, and suddenly the triple is really pretty happy. However, it's still out of alignment, and the shifter cable is shredded. I have mountain housing, so where it enters the shifter, it's all dug in. So, I stopped at Cadence to have them re-cable the bike. My other bike, with the popped spoke, isn't ready, so I got a ride home. They don't have 280mm black spokes on the shelf, and they don't have a cutter/threader. My only option for a quick turnaround is to go stainless/silver. Meh, no problem. I'd rather have it ready sooner than worry about spoke color. Plus, it'll let me track which ones are popping. If I lose another one, I may pick up a box of 20 double or triple butted spokes for the drive side.
