With the announcement that the Seneca Greenway is now open to bikes, an exploratory trip was required. Overgrown, yes, though apparently trimmed and mowed in some spots (what, whomever did their 200 yards and ran out of gas??). And quite the cliff at 4.2 that was some of the steepest hike-a-bike we've ever seen (turn on terrain or topo on the map -- you'll see). And some "bridges" as well as one spot so close to the creek as to be unrideable for 10 or 12 feet. But loads of potential if it gets some long-overdue maintenance and regular clipping/trimming/jungle taming. Seneca Bluffs on the way back was no less overgrown than the other side. The stretch at 10.8 along the base of the bluff is so jungle-y now that you no longer can see the rock wall you're riding along. Just soooo much green stuff.
