KCC-Steward HOT Ride 8-28-19

Emonda. Sunny, Cool at start - low 60's, straight West wind 14 mph at the start but picked up to 20+ mph by about 25 miles into it. Really hard for the first half, averaged only 14.8 mph through 31.4 miles. Different story on the second half, which was mostly cross and tailwind, averaged 24.4 mph for 31.4 miles. I don't think I've ever ridden so fast as I did from Steward back to Kaneville, including a new PB #1 ranking on the University Rd to Hwy 23 segment: 4.7 miles @ 29.9 mph.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
