Looked out my window and without surprise.... rain again. It was a light rain that continued all day, and a bit chilly at the start but my first 7ish miles were all up hill to Lolo pass I quickly warned up. Was super excited to meet my brother Sean and the Lochsa Lodge about 19 miles down the road on the Idaho side. I was running late but then meet him and two of his three kid's came out to cheer us on. All suited up in our rain kit, we had an amazing ride dow the pass with the Lochsa River to our right the whole time. Stunningly beautiful! Saw and bald eagle and ran into an Adventure Cycling tour headed west. My brother got us a night at a friend's epic cabin! And an amazing dinner on top. Amazing day so beautiful and really cool to share it with my bro!
