Great ride this morning, I got out early and did about 11 miles before meeting Rich, Bill, Roscoe, and Bob at the trailhead. We met up with Ralph and Sandy, Tom and Rob at Panera Bread. Linda D dropped by as we were drinking coffee and said hello, it was good to see her again. After coffee Ralph Sandy and Roscoe headed for home and the rest of us headed north with a nice tail wind. I volunteered to do a long pull on this section. Of course as every cyclist knows for every tail wind there is a head wind waiting to bite you some where. We had pretty steady winds at 10/15 with gusts to 20 mph from the south and south west. When we got back to the trailhead everyone loaded up and headed for home but me, I wanted to get a 50 mile day in so I rode some more by myself. It was a great ride every body, no wrecks no flats and wind resistance training, what more could one ask for. Our 17 mile segment from PB to PB we averaged 16.2 mph with some long stretches into a head or cross wind. It's good to have Rich and Bill along they block a lot of wind.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
