The weather remains on the warm side, but is comfortable. Winds from the North West and on the cool side. I got up about 30 minutes later than I would have liked. I wore the standard summer kit. The legs continue to feel a bit sluggish. I am still getting over stomach illness that has been persisting for days now. I made it to the top of OTR in slow time. After making it to the top of OTR, made my way up Highline. I felt a bit better on this segment and there was a nice tailwind on the way up. I made my way around the backside of the Buffalo neighborhood and then back to Highline for the return. Descending off OTR was relaxing. I stopped to pet the local horses and then headed back. I pushed over Mariposa and then the dig to the top of Weston. I shut it down when I got there.
Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. The morale was on the positive side even though my body remains sluggish. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Just the usual hand soreness. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast before departing. I drank about 2/3rds of my sport drink, no water. Other notes, there was a casual mountain biker as I was just making my way down WTR.
